Montichiari is a beautiful small town (about 20,000 inhabitants) in the eastern part of the upper Lombard countryside.
It stands on six little hills that make the view pleasant and particularly full of charm.
The landscape is dominated by the eighteen-century Cathedral, the Bonoris Castle dating back to the late nineteenth century and the old Abbey of St. Pancrace dating back to the eleventh century.
Five minutes walk from our B&B stands the little Romanic church dedicated to Santa Cristina (XI century). It is the ideal place to savour an atmosphere of bygone times  and to meditate in a  peaceful green oasis.
For this reason Santa Cristina’church has been a source of inspiration to our B&B (and also for its name).
